2019Hurricane Dorian devastates the BahamasCategory 5 storm stalls over Grand Bahama and AbacoHurricane Dorian struck the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm with sustained winds of 185 mph, then stalled for nearly two days, causing catastrophic damage. At least 70 people were confirmed dead, with many more missing. It was the strongest hurricane on record to hit the islands.
